Marianne Tengstedt
Horses
have been a lifetime passion for Marianne, beginning
at the age of 10 when she was purchased with her
first horse, and she has not been without one since.
Especially Arabian horses became a passion very
early in Marianne’s live and have maintained an
important role ever since. Marianne has been
competing in different disciplines with her horses
over the years, but has always had fervor for
dressage. Within Marianne´s judging career she have
had the pleasure to judge many important show on
various continents, such as in the U.S., Middle
East, Australia, South America, Africa and Europe.
All together it adds up to 30 different countries.
Besides judging she has also served twenty years as
a board member in Danish Society of Arabian Horses ,
within ten of these years as president from 1996
-2006. She remains the Danish representative to the
ECAHO and WAHO.
Today, she and her family live by the seaside in
southern Denmark on a small Arabian breeding farm,
home to 15 horses and several dogs. Our facilities
contain an in-door arena and 10 hectare pastures for
the horses. Our stallions are ridden regularly, and
we aim riding in all our horses at the right time.
We wish the result of our breeding program to be,
wonderful useful horses with lot of Arabian
type, and very well balanced in their character. To
renew our breeding program we often have stallions
on leasing terms from other countries, otherwise we
use well known stallions in our breeding program. We
will proudly show you our horses, and visitors are
welcome by appointment.
